El ITESO es de las universidades privadas más sustentables de México, según el ranking UI GreenMetric 2024. La Universidad es la líder en el país en tratamiento de residuos y en el manejo de energía y acciones para disminuir el impacto en el cambio climático. Este logro refuerza el compromiso de la universidad con el cuidado de la casa común y el desarrollo de conocimiento e innovación en sustentabilidad.
El ITESO se preocupa por el bienestar de la casa común y de quienes la habitan. Es por ello que implementa medidas concretas para hacer frente al avance y a los efectos del cambio climático, estableciendo metas que permitirán la transformación del campus en un espacio con una menor huella ambiental en los próximos años.
