Retos para el futuro
El futuro plantea muchos desafíos, pero también muchas oportunidades. Las líneas de trabajo para próximos años se centran en lo siguiente:
- Incrementar la oferta de materias relacionadas con el cuidado del medioambiente y la sustentabilidad en todos los programas y niveles académicos ofertados por la Universidad, para que éste sea un tema transversal en el modelo educativo del ITESO.
- Aumentar la colaboración con instituciones de educación superior a nivel mundial para enriquecer el diálogo interinstitucional enfocado en fortalecer el rol de las universidades en la lucha contra la crisis climática.
- Ampliar la investigación académica que realiza el ITESO en temas ambientales a fin de posicionar a la Universidad como un referente en el tema.
